Youth Pastor
Roger Matzke is the Youth Pastor at The Sanctuary in Orange County, CA.
Roger grew up in the O.C and he spent most of his days surfing and running the boardwalks of Newport Beach. He quickly became popular with the locals and surfing became the focus of his life.
Life as one of the Newport locals had many influences and he began to party and experiment and drugs. This lifestyle was leading him down a path that would not have a positive outcome, however he had an encounter with Jesus Christ that changed his life forever. Roger now spends his time pursuing the heart of God and ministering to the next Generation.
Pastor Roger has over 20 years of leadership and ministry experience. Each week in Gravity Youth, Pastor Roger preaches and delivers a message to the young generation that is real and relevant. He is effectively leading and developing the purposes of God in the lives of young people, and he desires to activate the Kingdom of God to challenge young people to pursue revival for their generation.
In Pastor Roger’s words, “It takes a generation to change a generation.”
Pastor Roger and Nicolle reside in Huntington Beach, California with their two children Kirra and Brennan.
